Georgia is the owner and operator of The Dog Barn, is a stay at home mom to her beautiful daughter, Adelyn, who together share their profound love and admiration for animals and exploring the outdoors. Growing up, Georgia found a passion for barrel racing, and began competing her horse Gunner in local shows.
Georgia began working at VCA animal hospital as a veterinarian assistant, helping animals in need. Since then, she started her grooming business, offering mobile nail trim, and then opening her own boarding business. Georgia owns four horses, two dogs, and two cats.
Georgia and her husband are also expecting a beautiful baby girl in 2025!

Groomer
Myrissa was born and raised in Harnett County. She always had a love for animals and a knack for creativity. Growing up she spent most of her time caring for pets and exploring various artistic pursuits. This combination of interests led her to a fulfilling career as a Dog groomer.
With 4 years of experience as a dog bather and going on 1 year learning as a groomer, Myrissa developed a reputation for her gentle touch & skills. Myrissa is dedicated to making every grooming session a positive experience for both the pets and their owners. Myrissa believes each dog deserves to look and feel their best, and she takes pride in delivering personalized care tailored to each pets unique needs.
When she's not grooming, Myrissa is spending time with her sweet son Conway, her 3 fur babies & her husband Blake. In the summer you can find Myrissa on a boat at the lake, and in the winter snuggled up in her pjs on the couch!Whether you need a simple trim or a full grooming makeover you can trust Myrissa to provide exceptional service with a smile!
